Players will become entangled in a series of murders that span over 25 years. It will be up to the players to investigate and interrogate the townsfolk to make their own decisions, where the consequences will impact the town for years to come. Led by game director Josh Sawyer, this game is brought to life by a talented team inspired by illuminated manuscripts, woodcut prints, and history itself. Xbox Series X reveals will take ‘a different approach’ to previous consoles
Most PS5 designs tend to make the system look chunkier and larger than previous Sony consoles because of the Xbox Series X's large size. Considering the amount of impressive tech that will have to be squeezed into each console, larger sizes seem inevitable for both. This concept, if even remotely accurate, would be surprising. Sony's specs might seem worse than the Series X's at face value, but it might also allow for a sleeker, cooler-looking PS5.
As you can see in this unofficial render, LetsGoDigital also takes a stab at predicting what the PS5's packaging will look like. The final product will probably have a lot more blue on it (based on what we've seen from previous generations), this is a solid concept that makes good use of the PS5 logo and classic PlayStation shapes.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will take us to Baghdad as Bassim from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Smaller in scale than the open-world RPG that came before, Mirage will be a narrative-driven action-adventure that looks set to pay homage to the original experience of the original Assassin's Creed that started the series, only with modern features and mechanics.
After much rumor and speculation, Silent Hill 2 is officially getting a remake from Layers of Fear and Blair Witch developer Bloober Team. The remake will be bringing the classic psychological survival horror game first released back in 2001 to the modern era, with enhanced visuals, audio, and updated gameplay using Unreal Engine 5. Original Silent Hill 2 composer Akira Yamaoka is back on board along with artist Mashiro Ito who also previously worked on the Silent Hill series. Silent Hill 2 follows the story of protagonist James who finds himself in the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his deceased wife. Konami announced that Silent Hill 2 is set to come to PC and PS5 as a timed console exclusive.
The Witcher 4 is officially set to kick start what will be a new AAA RPG trilogy for the Witcher series. There's still a lot of mystery surrounding where The Witcher 4 - codenamed The Witcher Polaris - will take us. All we have to go for the time being is a teaser image which intriguingly shows a medallain belonging to the school of the Lynx; which has already led to theories among fans about Ciri's involvement. We also know that The Witcher 4 is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, instead of CD Projekt Red's proprietary REDengine and it won't likely arrive before 2025.
Though the interface is much faster, the design of it on the new Xbox consoles is very similar to that of the previous console generation. This robs those upgrading from previous Xbox consoles of some of the new-car-smell fun of exploring a new user experience, but this iterative approach has provided a feature maturity and stability within the OS. Features like full external storage support, game level support and customization for features like Auto HDR and FPS Boost, and robust variable refresh rate support (which Xbox told us ranges from 30 to 120 fps) are already present, and the Series X and S have already received several updates. This includes a 4K dashboard for the Xbox Series X, an automated night mode to adjust UI colors depending on the time of day and even reducing the brightness output of the console and its status lights, and more. We also like little things like bonus animated dashboard backgrounds, including a special Xbox 20th anniversary theme enabled when you connect a limited edition 20th anniversary controller to your console.
Every Xbox One accessory you may have purchased since 2013 (with the notable exception of the Kinect) will work with the Xbox Series X and Series S. Every first- and third-party controller, every fight stick, every driving wheel, every media remote, and every already formatted storage device is compatible with the new consoles. Those controllers will need a firmware update, however; the consoles will tell you this when you connect a controller that needs it, and the firmware update works both wired and wirelessly.
